We only stayed one night, which was probably enough given the service. We arrived at 3 pm, the stated check-in time, but had to wait over an hour and 40 minutes for the room. Staff said they were understaffed in August and kept asking us to wait another 20 minutes. We stayed polite and sat quietly, even with our four-year-old child along. They offered, without us asking, to think of compensation. At checkout the next day, five minutes before the hotel's checkout time, general manager Dimitris accused us of blackmail because we'd waited over an hour, saying that was acceptable even with three kids. He even wanted to call the police. It was an awful feeling when we'd only wanted a nice stay after reading the good reviews. He asked why we hadn't left. The hotel is remote with no other options, and we were travelling with another family who waited about 20 minutes, which seemed reasonable. The room was spacious, but one towel had long hair on it that wasn't ours. You have to hold the shower head while washing, awkward with kids. Breakfast had lots of variety and was generally good, though little flies were moving from one item to another. Some crew members were nice and the room was roomy, so I gave one star. Otherwise I'd give zero. I'm very disappointed. I've stayed at many hotels and never had such rude service or been treated like that. This doesn't feel like a four-star hotel. Think carefully before booking.

The big family suite had an amazing view, and we liked the pool, shaded parking, breakfast, and facilities. The kitchenette was there, but had no glasses, cutlery, or plates. We also expected a four-star hotel to clean the room in the morning and keep the pool open longer than 11 am to 7 pm. My spa appointment was cancelled and couldn't be rescheduled. Check-in and checkout took a while too. None of that was a huge deal, but I'd expect a smoother experience at a four-star place.

I didn't stay in a room, so can't rate that part. The massage and spa were amazing, and the prices were comparable to Athens. I had a really relaxing time with Evaggelia. The Front Desk was very helpful, and the pool view was amazing. The picture is of the bay from the pool.

We've stayed in hotels all over Greece and elsewhere, and this place is top notch. Beautiful hotel and service. My family and I will definitely return, and we'd recommend it to anyone.
