Coming back to a room full of wasps, both flying and dead, was a disaster. With my wife pregnant, it didn't feel safe to stay there. The hotel confirmed the problem and closed the room, but since they were fully booked, they offered no alternative. We ended up sleeping on a sofa bed in a friend's room, which was totally unacceptable. Nobody followed up afterward, the staff were extremely rude, and they've ignored my messages since. I'm extremely disappointed by the poor service and lack of communication.

The hosts were the friendliest, the rooms were high quality, and breakfast was wonderful, delicious, and had more than we could ask for. The hotel is a little off the beaten path, but we were glad we chose it. It's a short walk to the square, just enough to help digest a good meal at one of the restaurants.

The rooms were bigger and cleaner than we expected, and the location in Monodendri made it easy to reach other villages and activities across Zagorochoria. Breakfast was amazing, and the kind, friendly staff were always ready to help us get the most out of our stay. There's no lunch or dinner at the hotel, only breakfast, but that wasn't a problem since small taverns with delicious traditional food are just a short walk away. MounTrace will be our go-to from now on. We'll definitely visit again. Thank you!

Parking was the one tricky part, though I don't blame them for it. The lot is so tight that anything bigger than a compact car will probably struggle to get out onto the historic track. Otherwise, we loved the beautiful suites in the heart of Vikos national park, with several hiking trails, including Vikos gorge, accessible right from the door. The staff were fantastic and the food was great.
