The only little drawback is that the place is up a hill, which can be tricky by car, though it’s still only a couple of minutes from the main street. We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was lovely and extremely helpful, and the rooms were very nice, air conditioned and cleaned every day. There’s a great pool, and you can borrow sun umbrellas and water toys.

We were very happy with the hotel. Our family of three stayed last summer, and the staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. They even made a breakfast basket with apple juice because our child loves that particular juice. Such a thoughtful touch. We didn’t use the pool, as we spent all day at the sea. We had a balcony with a fantastic sea view, and the small kitchen let us cook lunch now and then. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the sea through a beautiful village, with everything close by. In the late afternoon the water was hot, since the boiler is solar powered. Thanks so much to the staff!

The village’s narrow lanes make for a romantic walk, and we liked staying up there, though it’s a nightmare for anyone driving a large car. The rooms were very clean and the host was pleasant. The views below are nice if your room isn’t close to the pool. The bed was squeaky and too soft for us, as we prefer a firm mattress. The toilet and shower were very old and tiny, and could do with renovation after the tourist season. Still, it was a decent stay.

The host is very accommodating, and breakfast is now available. We stayed three years ago and thought it was brilliant. The pool is lovely, and the basic rooms have a fridge and air conditioning, which you really need. It’s on a hillside, so you’ll need a car or scooter if walking is difficult. Village taverna is a brilliant restaurant two minutes away. The only issue was noisy kids in the pool.
