We left in under an hour, and they still refused to refund any part of our week-long booking. For four days they gave us the runaround, saying manager approval was needed. If I could give zero stars, I would. At the property, they tried to charge us another €219.50 by sliding a slip of paper with the amount across reception, even though we'd paid in full. When we refused and showed proof of payment, we were suddenly told the lift was broken. The room was tiny and not as described; there wasn't enough space to open the cupboards. The heater was held together with a plastic bag, someone's hotdogs were in the fridge, and the old-fashioned room key was hard to use in the lock.

The hotel felt like a one- or two-star place. The furniture was very old, there was no fire alarm, and WiFi wasn't available on some floors. In January the room was very cold, and the air conditioner was extremely loud. The balcony door was hard to slide and wouldn't lock, while the main door was badly secured. In the bathroom, the shower was very uncomfortable and hot water could take up to 10 minutes after turning on the tap. Electrical cables were sticking out in the shower.

The room was very dirty when I checked in, and the hotel smelled awful, it really stank. The toilet leaked, and it felt like a complete waste of money. I stayed only two days, and it was a nightmare. The staff were rude and didn't speak English. I would never recommend it to anyone.
