Aegean Hospitality Mykonos

The staff were lovely, and we had a nice room with a good breakfast included. It's near the airport and a little way from the old town, which made it nice and quiet.

We've visited Mykonos for years, but our stay at Aegean Hospitality from 2021 onward has been our best one so far. Room Ios was charming and comfortable, with a bed that felt like a cloud, complimentary toiletries and an incredible view. We watched beautiful sunsets each evening from the spacious terrace, which had sunbeds and a private pool. Although the hotel is near a road, it still felt peaceful and private, like our own little retreat. The staff made us feel at home. When our flight was delayed, they let us keep the room for another four hours at no charge, and we could use the shower behind the gym before leaving. Breakfast was delicious, nicely presented and filling enough to last until dinner. The location worked well for us too. Paragga beach is nearby, as are a great supermarket and other shops within walking distance. It's close to the airport, and a short bus ride takes you to Mykonos Chora. The place combines a boutique hotel feel with privacy, great rooms and warm service. We've already booked Room Ios at Aegean Hospitality again this year and can't wait for the holiday.

We spent hours sitting at reception with our luggage, waiting for help or clear instructions, and got neither. Staff were dismissive, with no apology, compensation or solution. We even paid to leave the hotel for a day so they could clean the room, but it didn't help. For several nights we had to deal with a serious cockroach infestation. We reported it repeatedly, showed photos and videos, and staff saw the insects themselves, yet little was done. We couldn't sleep for two nights as we kept trying to keep the cockroaches away. It was disgusting and stressful, and completely ruined our vacation. The problem was still there after the so-called disinfection. This place isn't worth the price and didn't feel like a four-star experience. Avoid it if you want a clean, peaceful, relaxing holiday.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the hotel itself is very beautiful. Everyone on staff gave excellent service, and breakfast was nice. I'd recommend staying here, and I'll choose the same hotel when I return to Mykonos.
