The setting is the main thing this hotel has going for it. From our room we had a lovely view, with two large beaches nearby and a small hidden one too. There are three good restaurants and a bar/club for partying, and the building looks nice from the outside. Inside, the rooms are clean and towels were replaced daily, but the standard is no more than two stars. Breakfast was a disaster: undrinkable, old juice, weak coffee, butter, dry stale bread, cheap overly sweet muffins and donuts, plus reheated deep fried food. For ten days nobody cleaned our table, though they did remove the dishes. Service was basically nonexistent. There were usually 5-6 staff around the office, but they mostly hung out, smoked, drank, talked and made noise all day, late into the night and early morning, with little apparent interest in guests. One staff member seemed to have a serious flu or Corona and coughed heavily for several days, infecting several other staff members. None of them wore masks or seemed to care, even when infection numbers were ridiculously high. Mykonos is a great island in every way, but this hotel is overpriced and I wouldn’t choose it.

The staff were friendly overall and the location is great, but the room was very poor value for money. For the price, the accommodation is extremely basic: there’s no fridge and no plugs. We paid extra for a sea view, but trees blocked it. Nobody told us the breakfast hours when we arrived, and communication from staff was very basic.

The setting is lovely, with an open view across the sea and hills, a pool to enjoy, and a restaurant downstairs for food and drinks. The grounds feel clean, tidy and safe, with the warm air outside and clear blue water waiting nearby. Families should enjoy it. The rooms and furniture are fine, though nothing is brand new, and after all, you don’t spend the whole day in the room. There are long stairs throughout, so avoid coming with disabled people.

The staff were wonderful, and I really liked the pool, the bar and the pool table indoors. The location is very nice too. Food was okay, especially the fresh salad, but they seem to treat pescatarian as vegetarian, so ask whether a dish contains fish if you don’t eat it. There’s a regular bus to Mykonos town, and we often ate at the restaurant nearby up the hill. I’d recommend it. The room lighting was dim. After about 2-3 weeks without laundry service, I wanted my clothes cleaned, but one shopping bag would have cost 70 euros. I ended up hand washing most of it. The sun loungers on the beach also aren’t discounted for hotel guests, and I thought they were expensive.

The view and pool are great, and the place looks nice. Our room was clean too, but there were lots of mosquitoes when we arrived and the beds were awful. The beach below looks beautiful, but two beds cost 50'- euro and a peasant stood in front of us the whole time. We didn’t enjoy our stay despite the attractive setting. We’re in Paros now, where we got the warm welcome we remember, and nice beds. Avoid the restaurant below Spilia. The other nearby restaurants are great, with friendly people, good food and reasonable prices.
