The reception staff were a highlight, especially the lady who welcomed us and went out of her way to recommend local places and help us get around. The location made everything easy, with the bus stops and a local market only a couple of minutes away, and the Windmills and Little Venice close by too. Our room had a beautiful view and was clean and hygienic. We also looked forward to the fresh breakfast each morning. We had a great time at Chora Residence and would happily stay again.

The breakfast was one of the biggest and tastiest I’ve had in Europe, and the hostess was lovely and helpful with ideas for things to do and getting around the island. Our room was spacious, with a terrace and a large, comfortable bed. The location is handy for both the chora and the bus station, so it’s easy to explore. We arrived by ferry around 10pm after a long travel day, and the complimentary port pickup and drop-off was much appreciated. We had a great three-night stay and would come back.

The management were welcoming and very nice, and the hotel is central, making it easy to get around Mykonos city. Breakfast is included and simple. We had a good few days here, though there are several things that need attention, especially for sleep. The WiFi was slow and unreliable, and it would be good to improve the connection in all rooms. The windows are worn, and the rubber seal came loose when we opened or closed them. The toilet seat also wasn’t fixed properly. There was a loud buzzing noise at night, perhaps from a washing machine or something outside, possibly on the roof. It should be looked into. Noise was also an issue in the mornings and evenings: the walls are thin, and we could hear people moving furniture in their rooms and in the breakfast room. Felt pads on the chair and table legs might help.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay in a comfortable room with a magnificent sea view. Mykonos Chora Residence is peaceful while still being central, just a few yards from the main bus station, shops, and restaurants. The staff were kind, always smiling, and keen to accommodate our requests. Thank you, and congratulations to them.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast cook made fresh sunny-side-up eggs that were the best I’ve had. They were also so warm and personal with us, making this my favorite breakfast experience of our many trips around Europe. Getting to and from the airport or ferry was smooth. Our room was spacious, with two TVs and air conditioners that both worked well. The view and balconies were superb. The bathroom was basic and a little small, but it did the job.
