Feel Breeze

I noticed dust on the floor as soon as I checked in. It didn’t seem to get cleaned, and there were no fresh towels or daily housekeeping. The shower had mold and smelled bad, like it hadn’t been cleaned properly. If hygiene matters to you, I’d skip this place.

The room was stressful and uncomfortable from the start. It looked renovated in the photos, but in person the walls were damaged by damp and there was a strong musty smell. The design felt unattractive, the main door didn’t lock properly and let in air and insects, and the toilet door was broken. There were no nets on the window. A fresh coat of paint seemed to cover up problems without fixing them. The room was far too expensive for what it was, especially since the same amount could get you somewhere cleaner and more comfortable with breakfast. The location was also very inconvenient, isolated from everything nearby, with a steep downhill road that even cars struggle with. Before our trip, a devastating fire in my country destroyed homes, so we explained the situation honestly and asked to cancel and get a refund. The request was turned down twice, and the hosts wouldn’t offer even a partial refund. That lack of understanding during a crisis was extremely upsetting. We eventually went anyway, but the stay was just as disappointing as the service. I’d strongly advise others to avoid the place, and hope Booking takes another look at listing it.

We only stayed one night, but it was a pleasant visit. Mr Mario was a warm, very helpful host, and the room had a clean bed, a comfortable mattress, and the basic amenities. The sea view was the highlight.

The view was gorgeous, and the room and bathroom were both really clean. I even liked the shower and hair products enough to use them, which I never usually do. The host was caring and welcoming, and replied quickly and helpfully to all my questions. It felt like great value. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the center, but it’s uphill, so don’t try it with luggage or heels. Still, the climb is worth it for that view. Thank you.
