Manolia View Mykonos

We expected less because the price was so good for what you get, but Manolia view surprised us in every way. The room, service, staff, and cleaning were all great. Everyone was really friendly, and we couldn’t find any negatives. We loved our stay.

The gorgeous sunset and view were a highlight, and the shared pool was very nice. We stayed three nights, and Maria gave us a warm welcome with lots of information about the island. Our spacious room had a nice view and was very clean, with housekeeping every day. But the room was very noisy even without the party next door, and that party kept us from sleeping. We’d chosen a quiet hotel away from bars and nightlife because we wanted good, peaceful nights. The road up to the hotel is very steep and awkward, and even on our 125 scooter we didn’t feel safe going uphill. We’d also have liked some fast food at night so we didn’t always have to go out. The stay was quite good, especially for the view, but I’m not sure I’d book this hotel again.

Maria at reception was charming and always willing to go the extra mile to meet our needs. The staff and service she provided deserve five stars, and everyone at Manolia helped make this a perfect holiday. It was a great base for exploring the island and an incredible spot to relax. The pool area, view, and reception are amazing. The apartment was basic but satisfying, and the cleaning was consistently on point. Given Mykonos prices, it was an acceptable standard for what we paid, though money doesn’t go far on this fabulous island. I’d highly recommend Manolia View. The accommodation itself is more like a four-star stay, while the staff earn the higher rating.

Maria at reception was incredibly lovely and encouraged us to try something new each day, sharing suggestions that helped us discover places we otherwise wouldn’t have seen. The evening receptionist, Christos, was kind too, and we had fun swapping stories and experiences with him. My husband and I loved our four-night stay at Manolia View despite the reviews. There was a hiccup on arrival: the transport arranged through the hotel couldn’t pick us up from the airport because of road closures, which we hadn’t expected, so we found another ride. The views made the steep road to the hotel worth it for us. We rented an ATV to get around the island, so getting to and from the hotel wasn’t a problem. The hill may be difficult if you can’t climb it or don’t plan to rent a vehicle. Also, plane noise can be frequent, so if you’re not used to that, this might not be the place for you.
