Myconian Kyma, a Member of Design Hotels

The concierge, Poppy, was so helpful and made our stay special. The hotel is close to old Mykonos, an easy short walk, and there are other great restaurants nearby, including Anu.. and Tokyo Joe. The layout is great, the views are amazing, and the rooms are top notch. The breakfast buffet was unlike anything I’ve come across in my travels, and the staff were very attentive. This is a phenomenal property, and we’re already planning a return.

We had a great experience and would definitely return. The free airport pickup was a lovely start, and we were warmly welcomed with lots of useful information at check-in. Everyone we met was friendly and attentive. The hotel’s decor was stunning, the views were breathtaking, and our bright room was comfortable and cozy, with a good design. It could have been a little bigger, especially for a holiday stay with more luggage. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. The poolside food was very good, though a bit pricey. Breakfast tasted good, but the selection was limited and might not suit a longer stay.

The hotel is stunning, and it’s the staff who make the stay so special. They work tirelessly and keep smiling. Special thanks to the dining and pool teams, you were exceptional 👌 It was upsetting to see some guests treat the staff badly. At breakfast, one guest shouted at them without considering anyone around him, then, when confronted, said he could do what he wanted. The evening before, a man in a suit who clearly worked at the hotel shouted at the bartender in front of guests while we were having dinner. That was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Even with those incidents, I simply can’t fault the hotel itself. Room 89, 16th September-23rd September.

The only small snag during our stay was that we couldn’t reach reception by phone at night, and it can be quite far from the room. They once promised to call back, but never did. Still, for the value, I think this is one of the best hotels in town for service, and we’ll come back. Thanks to the team for the hospitality. It’s a beautiful hotel close to town, with excellent service, stunning views over the bay, and lovely sunsets. The two outdoor saltwater pools were very comfortable and relaxing. The spa treatment is worth trying too. Food was excellent throughout our stay, with several restaurants serving different styles of cuisine, and our room was always very clean.
