Ornos Blue

Sofia was friendly, helpful with everything, and quick to respond during our five-night stay. Housekeeper Kapil made sure we always had what we needed, including fresh towels. The walk down to the nearest supermarket and beach takes under ten minutes, but it's steep, so the way back up can be a lot. I'd say it's not suitable for children or people with mobility disabilities. We had an amazing time and highly recommend it. Please don't be put off by negative reviews.

Sofia welcomed us so warmly even though we arrived late, and I think we kept her up waiting for us. She was amazing, friendly, and very helpful. Our room was fantastic, with a different color scheme from the blue one in some photos but almost identical otherwise. From the balcony, we had a wonderful view across the island to the sea. The hot tub was lovely and very hot. We were sad to leave, and want to thank Sofia again for her hospitality. Don't read too much into the negative reviews.

The bathroom was clean and average. Our family could use the quadruple room, which had a small kitchenette with a fridge, cooktop, pots and pans, dishes, mugs, a kettle, and a Nespresso machine. The coffee pods weren't refilled. There's parking available, and the beach is about an 8-10 minute walk, though the route is a bit steep.

The front desk lady was helpful and accommodating, and they'll clean your room each day if you want. Ornos Blue is clean and in a lovely location, with large rooms and outdoor space. The view of Ornos beach is amazing, which makes up for the furnishings being a little outdated. It's not glamorous or brand new inside, and some rooms have a hot tub, which is a nice touch. You're away from the crowds but still close enough to the main city. It's in a hilly area, so I'd recommend having some kind of vehicle.
