The George Hotel

The staff made the stay special in small, thoughtful ways. Hassan, the sweetest bellhop, greeted me so warmly that I felt at home, and that feeling stayed with me. At breakfast, George made me a perfect iced latte after I told him European coffee can be a little strong for my Canadian taste. He took the time to figure out what I’d like, and it was one of the best I’ve had. The George Hotel also has a sister hotel just two minutes away where guests can lounge on the beach chairs. Mykonos has a great shuttle that runs around the island for only 2 euro per person one way, too. There’s a bidet in the room, if you know you know. The pools were stunning, crystal clear, well kept, and peaceful. From the private balcony and patio, the views were breathtaking, with the Aegean Sea, blue sky, and whitewashed buildings. The hotel mixes Cycladic charm with modern comfort, and its beautiful design and peaceful atmosphere made the whole stay feel like a slice of paradise. I’m already dreaming about coming back.

The bar team really stood out. Dimitris, Alex, Stavroula, Giannis, and Giorgos were friendly, professional, always smiling, and full of great recommendations. The whole team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The facilities were clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully arranged, from the common areas to the pool. There are two outdoor pools, and the beach is easy to reach. The location is close to everything we needed, though you’ll definitely need a car to explore the whole island. I highly recommend this hotel for its service and location.

Sunset from our balcony was unforgettable, and we loved the spotless, stylish room and its beautiful sea view. The pool area was peaceful and elegant, a lovely place to unwind after exploring. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with fresh local options and great coffee. It’s a short walk to Platis Gialos beach and a quick drive to Mykonos Town. The hotel is beautifully designed, with modern luxury and Cycladic charm, and the staff were welcoming, helpful, and ready with recommendations from the moment we arrived. Everything exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely return.
