Deep Blue Rooms & Apartments

The staff were super friendly, breakfast was decent, and the beach is only a few steps away. We stayed in a four-person room that needed maintenance. The bed in the kitchen was very uncomfortable, and there was an unpleasant smell throughout the studio. Ios is known as a party island, so there were lots of teenagers at this hotel too.

The hosts were extremely kind and polite, and gave us free rides to and from the ferry. The beach is about a two-minute walk away, and breakfast was good, especially the honey. It can get a little noisy when it’s windy because the window flaps move, but otherwise the room is quiet and peaceful.

The hotel is close to the clubs, restaurants and best beaches, and the family who own it are wonderful and give great service. I’d stay here every time I come to iOS.

The bathroom was modern and nice, though the lighting could be brighter. Breakfast was simple and basic but tasty, while the coffee was weak and could have been stronger and more Greek. My mother and I had a really pleasant stay at Deep Blue. The owners were kind and attentive, and picked us up at the port. Our clean room had a balcony with a nice view. Mylopotas beach is right outside, and the bus stop for Chora and the port is there too. A taxi to Chora costs 8 euro. Buses are still the cheapest way around Ios, but sometimes arrive early or late. Thanks, Deep Blue, we’d definitely book again. :)
