The room we had booked was already occupied when we finally got to see it, with someone else’s clothes and belongings inside. Before that, an older man had put us in a different hotel across from the one we chose, calling it an upgrade. It was smaller, dated, and clearly worse. He refused to let us check into our reservation and insisted his option was better. When we objected, he blamed us for making a fuss instead of apologizing or explaining what happened. We left and found a hotel that honored our booking. A chaotic and disrespectful experience.

The room we had deliberately booked at Nufaro had been given to someone else. We only discovered that after the older man who greeted us put us in another hotel at the front of the property, claiming it was a free upgrade. We had chosen our original room from the photos, and the replacement was worse, but he insisted it was better. When we asked to see our booked room, it was occupied and had other people's belongings in it. He hadn't told us he'd reassigned it, and when we complained he accused us of causing problems. We left and booked somewhere that gave us what we had reserved.

Nikos and his son made us feel so welcome, their kindness and hospitality were the best part. They really want you to feel at home, and they absolutely succeed. Noufaro appartments and Aegeon hotel are family-run places right by Milopotas beach, with a nice pool and a bus stop nearby.

We felt so welcome thanks to the friendly staff, and had a wonderful time. The location was great, and they cleaned our room every day. We’d happily come back.

Everyone in this family business was really warm and welcoming. Just a heads-up, the beach is a bit of a party beach, which we hadn't realized.
