Galini Hotel

It's family-run, and everyone was incredibly friendly. We loved the homemade treats with the included breakfast, and the laundry service was very affordable. The place has a nice mix of modern comforts and a rustic look. It's a ten-minute drive from the port and another ten minutes to Plaka. We loved staying here.

Studio 1 was a lovely room for our two nights, with a sunset view and a peaceful setting. We enjoyed the sea from the terrace, and since we had our own bike, getting to Plaka was a short ride and the south beaches were about 25 minutes away. That was very convenient for us. The family and staff were kind and helpful, and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was great, with plenty of tasty, well-made choices and homemade jams. The room looked a little different from the photos, probably because of the decoration, but it had been nicely redone and was comfortable with the basics covered.

We loved our stay and thought it was excellent value. It's a little more rustic than other places on the island, and there's not much around apart from the beach out front, so you'll need a car to get around. The rooms have air conditioning if you need it, and breakfast is a full buffet. As of our September 2025 stay, the restaurant was closed apart from breakfast, so plan other meals accordingly.

We loved the peaceful setting and the beautiful beach just 300 meters from the rooms. Shops and restaurants are farther away, so having a car is handy, though the local bus to and from was reliable. The family-run hotel's staff were amazing, often going out of their way to help, from arrival through departure. Breakfast was included and some of the best food we had on the island. Our room was spacious, with great air conditioning and a great shower. The private balcony had the best sunset view, so we stayed in most evenings to watch it. 10/10, we'll be back!
