We slept really well on the firm but comfortable bed, helped by curtains that kept the light out so completely that on our first morning we slept three extra hours without realizing the sun was up. The apartment was very quiet despite being on the main route into town, as our windows faced away from the road. We overlooked a small courtyard; it might get a little noisy if people are using it, though I doubt it. The harbour is only a couple of minutes’ walk away. The rooms were very well furnished, with lovely sheets and plenty of conditioner, shampoo, shower gel, and other bathroom supplies. There was a TV in both the bedroom and living area, but only one remote. Breakfast was simple and had everything we liked, especially the courgette and feta fritter. We loved the breakfast room decor, and the staff were lovely. Everything was very clean and felt like home. We plan to return. Just one thing: the beautiful kitchenette had pans but no chopping board, chopping knife, cooking utensils, corkscrew, or tea towels, so it wasn’t very practical for cooking. That was a shame, since those things would cost less than 20 euros to add. Reception did have a corkscrew we could borrow. It won’t stop us coming back, and we’d absolutely recommend staying here.
