Lepanto Beach

The homemade lemonade was great, and the menu was both high quality and super cheap. We were right by the beach, just three steps away, and close to the nice shops in town. The rooms were comfortable, the bathrooms hygienic, and breakfast came with lots of extras and the best coffee I’ve had so far in Greece. The manager was super nice and welcomed us with a drink. No loud teenagers, either.

The staff were excellent, and the hotel itself was clean and in a fantastic location. I loved staying there. The coffee, though, was terrible, absolutely disgusting. When I was in the navy, I accidentally drank coffee that was a week old, and even that tasted better. Seriously, don't try the coffee here.

Angela made our days at the beach especially lovely. She handled the beach service with so much warmth, always greeting us with a smile and a positive attitude, and her local tips made the trip more memorable. We went to Lepanto Beach Hotel’s sunbeds almost every day during our stay, since the loungers are just steps from the sea. It was such a nice spot in Nafpaktos to relax, whether we were sitting with a coffee or cocktail, or simply watching the water. Angela is a big part of what made us feel welcome and want to return.

We ordered food and drinks on the beach several times. There are two male servers, and the tall guy in his 50s charged me €12 for a mojito when the menu listed €10, then €4.50 for a freddo on another day when the listed price was €4. When I asked for the receipt, he said, “I know how much it costs, I don’t need to see the bill”. It felt like he was ripping tourists off, and I think he should be fired. The hotel is on the beachfront, but inside there's nothing special.
