Avra Nafpliou

Avra had a great pool, a lovely pool bar, free bikes to use, and excellent staff. The room was spacious, clean, and well run. It is a walk into the town center, but my wife and I, both in our 60s, managed it each night without a problem. We recently stayed two nights as part of our month-long trip around Greece, where we generally choose good 3-star hotels that meet our needs. Avra was no exception, and it was great value. Why not stay here?

We stayed for three nights in two rooms. The staff were helpful and welcoming, and we didn't hear any noise despite the great location. Both rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked really well. Breakfast was delicious, with a good range of yogurt, bread, meat, fruit, juice, coffee, and tea. We'd stay here again.

The service is fantastic and the rooms are very spacious. It's on the edge of town, with a pleasant 20-30 minute walk to the port and old town once you're past the busy roads. You can also book a taxi with “Freenow” for around 5-7€.

The breakfast is good, and there's a big pool, though its opening hours are very limited. The pool bar menu is also very limited, and prices are high. The neighborhood is very loud, despite the modern, small rooms having balconies. Several things around the hotel were broken or out of order.
