Leone Guesthouse

We’ve stayed here twice so far, and would happily recommend it. The hosts are friendly, and it's close to the Old Town center. This is a nice boutique hotel, with rooms decorated in a distinctive way that makes them feel unlike ordinary hotel rooms.

The place is so popular that, with only 8 rooms, it's a good idea to book well ahead. Parking isn't available on the old town streets, but there's free public parking by the port, about a 7-minute walk away. Mikas and Anastasia created and run the place, and are always ready to help. We felt at home. The hosts are thoughtful and friendly, the breakfasts are fantastic, and the design is exceptional. All of that comes at a very fair price, in a perfect location. It feels like a piece of art.

We had a great three-night stay at Leone guest house. The decor is fantastic, and you can tell a lot of heart went into the place. The hospitality was warm and attentive. Highly recommended!

Our stay was pleasant and good value, and having the private entrance made it very convenient to get around town. It was around the corner on the ground floor, up a few steps. Check-in was smooth after we parked by the park and walked a couple of minutes. The host was very friendly and suggested a good restaurant. The room was artsy and spacious, with a nice shower and a good fridge, which we unplugged since we weren't using it. There wasn't much natural light, but plenty of bulbs. The room was a bit humid because that side doesn't get much sun, so we left the window slightly open. People passed by often and nearby restaurants made it noisy, and construction started early on weekdays. We were tired and managed to sleep, then woke to the construction on the day we had to check out anyway. I'm taking off one star because some lights couldn't be fully switched off at bedtime, including the exit sign and ceiling lights attached to the fan.
