At 129.5 euros a night, 388.5 for our three nights, this was a disappointing stay and I would NEVER return. The room was relatively clean and spacious, and there were complimentary items like shampoo, individual jams, toast, tea, 3 soft drinks, water, and a bottle of wine. But we didn't rest well at all. The mattress had springs pressing into us, and when we lifted the sheets it looked dirty, old, and overused. We woke with body pain. The air conditioner seemed ancient, kept stopping and starting on its own, and made so much noise it woke us repeatedly. We were freezing at night, too. The listing mentioned a balcony with a view, but the photos show a semi-basement, which we should have checked. From the balcony door you climb a few steps into the yard, with no view. There was no shutter, just a blackout curtain, so no natural light could come in without people passing by being able to see us. On the first day, the manager or owner, I'm not sure which, asked from his balcony while we were out in the street if everything was okay. I said I couldn't explain the problems there and it would be better to discuss them up close. He kept asking what was wrong, and I told him the mattress and air conditioner were our main concerns. He didn't even come down to talk. I found that extremely unprofessional.

The hosts were excellent, and the place was very clean. The center of Nafplio is an ideal distance away.

A lovely apartment, with the supermarket nearby and the sea just 100m away.
