Hotel & Apartments Kalypso

The location is wonderful, and staff were helpful when we asked questions. Maps of the island with some recommendations from staff would be a welcome improvement. In room 45, the bed was very comfortable and the door on the north side gave the room a nice private entrance. We couldn't get the shutters to move, though, and having two pillows per person would be an improvement.

The beachside location was lovely. We enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks under the olive trees by the water, and our balcony faced the beach with a gorgeous view. It's only a 10-minute stroll to the heart of Naoussa, with its bars, shops, and restaurants. We had a sensational holiday at Kalypso Hotel. George and his family made our big group feel so welcome as we celebrated my 60th birthday. The staff went out of their way to make the evening a dream, even putting on a beautiful fireworks display on the beach. Everyone was welcoming and friendly throughout our stay.

The location was amazing, and our room was a good size with a nice ocean view and balcony. But the rooms and service need considerable improvement. There was no shampoo or body wash, which makes little sense for a beach hotel, and we got just one towel, replaced every 3 days. Beach towels cost 2 euro and we had to stop at the front desk to get fresh ones. The hotel isn't cheap enough to nickel-and-dime guests with small fees. I hope they improve the food and basic amenities. The included breakfast was absolutely terrible, with a limited selection and poor quality. We didn't eat at the restaurant because of it. Better breakfast would probably bring more guests in for beach and dinner dining.

Breakfast was included, and the staff were always glad to chat and share suggestions. We loved being right by the sea and only a five-minute walk from Naoussa's lively center. It felt nicely tucked away from the bustle without being far from it. Such a good choice for a stay here, definitely recommend.
