NAUMA PAROS Design Boutique Hotel-Adults Only

We had a lovely stay. The hotel is in a quiet, safe area, just a five-minute walk from Naousa, which made it easy to relax after a day out. The breakfast was delicious every morning. Thanks to the kind woman who prepared it so carefully, I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name. Shella also did a great job keeping our room clean and comfortable. The room itself was fantastic, and we really enjoyed the private hot tub, especially with the strong winds making beach days less appealing. We did have a few uncomfortable interactions with Elias, who introduced himself as the host. At the pool bar we paid €3 for a glass bottle of water, the same one served free at breakfast, but he insisted we trade it for a plastic one. That felt unnecessarily strict and unpleasant. At breakfast, we sometimes felt he was watching how often we went back to the buffet, almost as if we were doing something wrong or "stealing" his food, which made the meal tense. On checkout day we were slightly behind and asked reception for 30 extra minutes to finish packing. While we waited for the morning receptionist, Elias made a sarcastic remark that “they should have known,” suggesting we should have planned better. It felt out of place in a hospitality setting. Even with those issues, we had a very good stay and would recommend the hotel for its location, comfort, and most of the staff’s efforts. A little more professionalism and warmth in guest interactions would make it a five-star experience.

The hotel is beautifully designed, and the staff were attentive and outgoing. Everyone greeted us coming and going, and the sunbeds were comfortable in direct sunlight. Breakfast was complimentary and hit the spot. It’s in a perfect spot, about a five-minute walk from Naousa. A couple of things to know: the shower water comes out literally boiling hot when you turn it on, so be careful. The TV has no streaming or airplay, and its channels are mostly news, though you probably won’t use it much.

Nauma Naoussa Boutique Hotel was spotless, with a really nice breakfast, and a great location close to both Naoussa and the beach. The breakfast lady was lovely, though I unfortunately forgot her name. Zayna and Elias at reception were also amazing, so welcoming, kind, and helpful. They really made our stay enjoyable. Tina, who was at reception in the morning, was a very different experience. She wasn’t welcoming at all, didn’t smile or say hello, and seemed like she didn’t want to be there, just waiting to kill time. Her attitude made things feel heavy and uncomfortable. I work in hospitality, and that kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in such a lovely place. Without her, I’d happily have given five stars.

The hotel itself was lovely, with a beautiful design, a nice atmosphere, and a very rich breakfast. Tonia deserves a special mention for making delicious cakes every morning. The man who helped with our luggage was kind and helpful, too. The one bad experience was Elias in the breakfast area. We were a group of girls, and he kept approaching and following us, which made us uncomfortable. As we were leaving, he even asked to kiss us while laughing with his taxi driver friend. It was very unpleasant and inappropriate. Aside from that, the hotel and most of the staff were wonderful.
