The location was the only reason I gave this place a star. Our double room was so tiny that we couldn’t even fit our cabin-size luggage, and the bathroom was small and dated. There wasn’t a shower curtain, so water went everywhere, and there was only one mirror, in the bathroom. No space to hang beach towels outside, no parking, no private balcony, and no view. We’re both small people and still couldn’t fit in the room. The mattresses were terrible, and the cleanliness was poor, especially when you’d expect better during COVID. We left and found somewhere better for the same price. Don’t bother coming here or waste your money.

The location is the one good thing, but the stay itself was awful. We had three terrible nights, with paper-thin walls and windows that let in noise and daylight. Scooters and people partying kept us awake with noise all night, and after dealing with insomnia, we were woken at dawn for all three days. The low prices make sense now. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The place offers exceptional value for money, and we were welcomed with local fruit and wine. We appreciated being hosted by a real Greek family, the typical Cycladic architecture, and the view. The hosts were kind and provided transportation to and from the port or airport. There were friendly local neighbors, and the dishes and refrigerator were useful. Cleaning was excellent, with fresh linen every day. Highly recommended!

I had to cancel my booking for personal reasons, and the owner wouldn’t refund the amount charged to my credit card despite the free cancellation policy. I eventually sorted it out through Booking.com and got the refund from them instead of the property. When I return to Paros, I’ll be careful never to book this place again.
