Parian Lithos

Katerina was welcoming, kind, and full of useful information. The pool area is nice, and it’s a short walk into town. The rooms were clean and refreshed each morning, though fairly basic. Shampoo and soap were in wall dispensers, and there was no conditioner. The busy road nearby meant we heard constant traffic while by the pool and at breakfast. Breakfast felt cheap and below what I’d expect at this price. We stayed in August at a peak time and paid over €300 a night, so we expected something a bit special. Another place on our trip cost less and felt much more luxurious. If this place were cheaper, I’d probably rate it higher.

The hotel has a pleasant overall look, including a nice panoramic rooftop and pool, and we liked its location, about a 10-minute walk from the center of Naoussa. We stayed at the Parian Lithos for five days in July. Our room, especially the bathroom, really needed renovation and wasn’t comfortable. We also found the breakfast choices limited, and the products could have been fresher. For us, it wasn’t the best value for money.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I’d give this place 5 out of 10. It may look like you’re getting good hospitality, but we found a lot of problems and felt they only cared about our money. There was no room service for three days, and our rubbish stayed there. They never replenished the coffee or tea. Even tea taken from the breakfast area was charged, and so was a cappuccino or flat white, despite breakfast being included. On our third night, there was a blackout. At 5:30 in the morning, a loud bang came from the electricity pole, and we saw sparks around the place. We told the property something was wrong and couldn’t make coffee or tea. When we asked the kitchen lady for hot water or coffee, they charged us, even though we couldn’t use the facilities in our room. I’ll never return. The hospitality was atrocious. They only take cash for laundry and the hotel stamp duty. Don’t stay here.

Katarina and her team made the stay. The service was absolutely perfect, and everything was spotless. The rooms were spacious, the grounds beautiful, and the pool is a great place to lounge with lovely sunset views. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
