Arco Naxos Luxury Apartments

We spent a week in the Signature apartment and found it simple, practical, and very well cared for. It’s ideal for two, though there’s room for three or even a couple with two small children. The layout works well: a little entry area with a kitchenette, two sofa beds, and a small table and chairs. The bathroom is roomy, with a large shower, bidet spray by the toilet, and a big mirror. The bedroom is small, with two little windows and a nook for hanging long clothes, and there’s also a wardrobe by the entrance. The apartment stayed pleasantly cool, so we never needed the air conditioning. There’s a fridge, plus beach towels, an umbrella, and a few beach toys. It’s cleaned and the towels are changed every two days, which we appreciated. There’s a 10% discount at two nearby cafés, one on the promenade and one in the old town that opens at 10 AM, but not at the café right next to the apartment. You’re right in Naxos Old Town, about a five-minute walk from the port. We could get around on foot without a car or public transport. Eurobank is an easy walk, then it’s just a few more steps to the apartment. Restaurants, bars, and little shops are all close by. The historic center felt very clean and safe, and our laundry hanging on the terrace was never touched. Though it’s central, the entrance is tucked into a quiet alley, giving you a bit of privacy. The one thing to keep in mind is the short uphill walk to reach it, which could be tricky with heavy luggage or mobility issues. Our host was kind and gave us great suggestions for restaurants, bars, beaches, and places to see around the island. He also arranged a rental car for a few days, saving us time and effort. At night, you may hear music from a nearby bar until around midnight, but it didn’t affect our sleep. We had a lovely stay and would happily recommend it. It’s not luxurious, but it’s comfortable, well managed, thoughtfully equipped, and in a fantastic spot with warm, helpful hosts.
