Ikaros Studios & Apartments

The hosts were really friendly and gave us useful advice on the best places to visit while we were here. The rooms were beautiful and clean, a 10 out of 10 stay.

There’s plenty of free parking, and you can walk to restaurants, grocery stores and the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the garden and pool area felt peaceful and private. The grounds were immaculate. Nikos and Kalli care so much about the property and their guests, and they went above and beyond. They quickly started to feel like family. Kalli welcomed us with delicious lemonade, then surprised us with homemade bread later. They’re genuinely lovely people.

We were so glad we chose Ikaros Studios. Nikos and Kalli were warm, welcoming and happy to help throughout our stay. Nikos picked us up at the port and dropped us off when we left. At Ikaros Studios, Kalli greeted us with homemade lemonade, then shared a list of island recommendations that was especially helpful since it was our first visit. The studio and grounds were spotless and clearly well cared for. There’s a pool, plus a hot tub you can book, which was a nice extra. The location worked perfectly for us, with a supermarket nearby, St George Beach a five minute walk away and the center about 10 minutes on foot. I’d recommend it to anyone staying in Naxos. We loved our stay at Ikaros Studios & apartments on Naxos. Nikos and Kali made us feel more like friends than guests, with great suggestions for food, places to visit and things to see around the island. They clearly take pride in the place. They collected us at the port and took us back 10 days later, though we’d stayed nine nights. The grounds, gardens and pool were pristine, and the accommodation was immaculate with constant cleaning. It’s a short walk, maybe 10 minutes at most, to St George beach. Nearby there’s a supermarket, a very good cafe with huge portions, a bakery, a grill and an open air cinema. Naxos Town is around 20 minutes away on foot, with plenty of restaurants, shops and vehicle rental places. We enjoyed the walk, though I know not everyone wants to do it after eating or having a drink. The room had aircon, a fridge, mini freezer, dining table, hob, cutlery and plates, plus a very comfortable bed and fruit on arrival. The shower had its own cubicle and always had hot water, which isn’t the norm in Greece. There was also a hot tub. We felt lucky to stay here. I loved it, and booking early makes sense since it’s in demand for good reason. All those great TripAdvisor and Google reviews are deserved, and to me even the 9.9 on booking.com seems a little low by 0.1. It’s a class place.
