We felt well looked after by the owners, a warm family who clearly take pride in their hotel and island. They gave us helpful suggestions for activities and places to eat, and even picked us up at the port. Breakfast was brought to our room on a tray in the morning. The hotel is beautifully kept and immaculately clean, about a five-minute walk from the ferry port, shops, and plenty of restaurants. Our room was comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, cozy bedding, and a shower with great pressure. We had a lovely stay and would gladly return.

Rena and her family made us feel so welcome at Pension Sofi. They picked us up at the airport, took us to the port, served a nice breakfast each day, and shared lots of Naxos suggestions. When the air conditioning had a problem, they went out of their way to fix it that same night. Thanks so much, we hope to come back soon. The location is perfect.

We chose Naxos for the Greek Orthodox Easter celebrations and spent the 2026 Easter weekend at Pension Sofi. Rena, her husband, and daughter were very helpful in advising us on how to join in. Soon after dark on Good Friday, the three Greek Orthodox churches in Naxos town each held a solemn procession carrying an epitaph representing Christ’s tomb. Everyone met in the town center, then went to the waterfront for a big concert and party. Many thanks to Pension Sofi for helping make it an unforgettable weekend.

The location made it easy to get to Naxos nightlife and dining, about a ten-minute walk to the lively center. The family who run Pension Sofi were incredibly helpful and gave us great island recommendations. They also offer pickup and drop-off at both the ferry and the airport. It’s a real family-run bed and breakfast, and a gem. Just stay at Sofi Pension! Cheers.

We walked into town at night for its great restaurants, including one Rena suggested on the main road by the ocean. It was one of our best meals of the whole trip. The pension is also walkable from the port, though they sent a van to collect us and take us to meet our ferry. The rooms were lovely and very clean, and breakfast was yummy. Best of all, Rena was an incredible hostess. She generously helped with so many things, from a rental car and excursions to lending us beach towels and an umbrella. She even handled our annoying teenagers who still don’t know how to behave. Highly recommend.
