Princess Mare Hotel - Adults Only

Kostas gave us great suggestions for places to visit, and they all met or even beat our expectations. The host also arranged a rental car at a fair price with some useful extras. We came during the Easter holiday in the off season, a major time in Greece, and were picked up from the ferry and driven to the hotel for a small fee. The personal attention was much appreciated. We hope to return another time, especially if the same staff are working.

The breakfast was okay, though the dining area is small, and there are restaurants nearby. Getting back to the hotel from them can be tricky without GPS. Driving there is difficult too, with very narrow one-way streets. We had a small room on the fourth floor, five flights up a winding staircase, and there’s no elevator. Public parking is about 200 meters away.

We rented a car through the accommodation at a very fair price, and they shared some lovely ideas for things to do and places to see around the island. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Our room was comfortable, up to date, and kept very clean by housekeeping. The hotel was refurbished in 2021 and is well maintained, about 200 meters from both the beach and the nearest supermarket. Breakfast is included. It’s a small spread, but plenty to get the day started, and the Greek yogurt was delicious. Thanks for a great stay, Vaso and Kostas. We’ll definitely be back.

Stella really made this stay for us. She remembered us, checked in on what we were doing, and kept looking for ways to help. From the start she understood our situation and tried to find a solution, with a juice! The rooms were clean, well equipped, and just the right size. The hotel is one block from a lovely beach, easy to reach during the day or at night, and felt very secure. One of our most wonderful stays in Greece. Thank you, Stella and the staff. We won’t forget it.
