Sunlight Naxos

Breakfast had a generous selection, and the coffee was really good. Our room was cleaned each day, even though we had only asked for cleaning every 2 or 3 days. We booked a studio and got a beautiful ground-floor room looking out over the pool. It was spacious and had everything we needed. The cats could be a bit of a nuisance, but they were also fun to watch wandering around.

We booked three nights in Naxos but left soon after arriving because the room looked nothing like the one we had booked. It was Sunday afternoon, and we couldn't get hold of anyone at the hotel in person, by phone, or by email. Four days later, I still hadn't received a reply to my email. We left the key on the bed and moved to another hotel nearby. In more than 15 years of holidays in Greece, this is the first time we've left a property. The photos were awful and misleading. I would definitely not recommend it. I've added a picture of the room I booked and four of the room we were given.

The staff were super friendly, and breakfast was really good. The hotel is well placed near the city centre, the beach, and the best restaurants in town, all easy to reach on foot. The only drawback was the small, uncomfortable bathroom in our room, especially when trying to shower. Aside from that, I highly recommend staying here.

We spent six days here and enjoyed every moment. The pool has outdoor seating, and inside there's a breakfast bar where you can pick what you want and enjoy a fresh, delicious breakfast each morning. Our rooms were lovely and always clean. When we got back from driving around, the beds had been made and the towels changed. Five stars 🌟
