Venetian Suites 3

Our family had no problems here, despite some reviews that might make you worry. We stayed in a ground-floor suite, which I believe is one of the least expensive, and felt the value was hard to beat. Ours was across from Labyrinth Wine Restaurant, in case that specific suite is available when booking. The kitchen had a decent selection of supplies, enough to make a basic meal, and the suite had everything else we needed. The location also worked especially well with a stroller: there are no steps from the port, restaurants are nearby, and a well-stocked market is about 10 feet away. The host met us at the port and carried our bags to the place. It was a great experience, and I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Naxos and looking for somewhere in the old town.

Be very careful. I arrived yesterday and was met at the port, then taken to a gloomy, dungeon-like apartment with a small shuttered window facing a covered alley. It looked nothing like the 47 photos in the listing. The listing I booked didn’t distinguish between apartment types or say that the room might differ from the photos. I didn’t stay. He told me I’d get a 3 Eur refund because I hadn’t checked in, which prevents me from leaving a review on Booking.com. An experienced con man.

The suite was cozy, beautifully decorated, and in a very good location. James was attentive and answered all my questions promptly. Thank you, James and Venetian Suites. I really enjoyed staying here and would love to come back soon.

We’d happily stay here again. The apartment was clean and cozy, and the location was great. James was easy to coordinate with, met us at the Port when we arrived, and shared some helpful local recommendations. We really liked the apartment-style room.
