Venetiko Apartments

The old town’s alleys are a maze. I was still getting lost on my second night, and in low season even the streetlights were off. But staying in this place felt like a rare chance, and I know I’ll miss it. I visited in early April and paid only €70 for two nights, which felt totally worth it. My room was part of a historic building, with stone walls and traditional Greek details that made it feel distinctive and fun. There’s a TV for watching shows in bed, a small kitchen area and a table for eating or working. The space is compact, and the bathroom is a little small, but it works perfectly fine and everything I needed was there.

The host really went out of his way to make us comfortable, even bringing wine from his family farm. Our room was spotless after daily cleaning, and the interiors felt fresh and new while still showing off the building’s wonderful historic features. We had a great stay in a beautiful traditional apartment and would recommend it and come back. Thank you for a lovely visit x

Hotel Venetiko has a kind, friendly owner and a great spot in the old town. There’s a lot of history in the rooms, and the owner shared plenty of information. I even had an excavation covered with glass in my room floor. The apartment had all the amenities I needed, plus complimentary jam, a bottle of wine and fruit from the owners’ farm. It felt like the personal touch of a home stay, with the privacy of an apartment. My only small difficulty was that the shower was handheld and couldn’t be mounted at shoulder or head height. It didn’t affect how much I enjoyed my stay.

We stayed in two rooms during our seven days on Naxos, and both made for a memorable visit. The rooms are in a 500-year-old house, updated to be very comfortable, with historic details and thoughtful touches from the host. It feels special, not like another cookie-cutter hotel room. The host met us at the port and walked us to our room, since cars aren’t allowed in the Old Market area, and told us useful things about the neighborhood along the way. It isn’t a luxury hotel, but we found the price, location and overall experience to be extraordinary value. Thank you, Venetiko Apartments!
