Zeus Hotel

It took a bit of effort to find the hotel at first because Google Maps sent me the wrong way, but I’ve had no trouble locating it since. The rooms are really clean, and the location is pretty good. I’d stay here again.

My room had a balcony where I could sit with coffee or tea in the evening, which was lovely. The place was very clean, and the room felt huge for one person. It’s close to both the center and Agios Georgios Beach, with plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The area has a lively feel.

Maria and her husband work incredibly hard, and Maria even helped me carry my heavy suitcase up to the second floor since there’s no elevator. I spent two nights here and was impressed by how helpful they were. It’s a family run place, and while the owners don’t speak much English, they do their best to communicate. Demetria speaks English well and explained how to reach the bus station. Everyone was friendly and quick to respond to requests. The hotel is in a very central spot, with easy access to everything. It was spotless, too. I kept seeing Maria mopping the floors and dusting the reception area. My room was cleaned and the towels changed every day. It was comfortable and had everything I needed, including a clean bathroom and shower, toiletries, a hair dryer, TV and AC. There was also a large balcony with a small table, a couple of chairs and a good spot to dry laundry. They were happy to hold my luggage for the day since my ferry wasn’t leaving until early evening. I was very impressed and highly recommend the place.

The single room was very clean and such a good price. The busy tourist district is on the other side of the square, about a six minute walk away. This spot is quieter at night, which made it more comfortable for me.
