The water was magnificent and crystal clear. Just offshore there's a small reef, around 100 square meters and 1-2 meters underwater, which was great for snorkeling and free diving. We spotted all kinds of fish, big orange crabs, two red octopuses, sea urchins, and a couple of jellyfish. We liked eating in Iraklitsa in the evenings, especially at Oddyseas for fresh seafood and Greek specialties at decent prices. There's also a big funpark for kids. Iraklitsa is ideal for a quiet, relaxing family holiday, and we highly recommend it. The place itself is beautiful and cozy, with a nice garden, a large outdoor terrace, barbecue, and parking. Inside, the living room has two sofas, a refrigerator, and a complete kitchen, plus a washing machine in the bathroom. Both bedrooms have large, comfortable beds. A Lidl supermarket is nearby. The beach is fine.
