Villa Mediterrane

I liked the peaceful setting and would definitely visit again. My room had what I needed: a microwave, refrigerator, AC, TV, a big terrace, toaster, electric kettle, and more. It was cleaned carefully every day. There’s a lovely garden, a large parking area, and the beach is a two-minute walk from my room, with some rooms even closer. The first three rows of beach loungers are kept for hotel guests, with no purchase required. The main drawback for me was how far the hotel is from everything. You'll need to drive about 3 km to the center, where almost all the places to eat are. The beach bar is a little overpriced: an iced tea is about 1 EUR at the local market, while the same bottle costs 5 EUR on the beach, though I guess that's expected. I also think the stay could cost a little less.

The beach and location were nice, but watch the bill at the Mediterrane beach bar. The first time, we paid at the end of the day and were charged about 15-20% extra for things we hadn't ordered: an ice cream we had already paid for at the bar, three sodas, and two extra beers. I raised my rating from one star to four after we stayed a few more days and things went fine. We paid for each order as we went. The service was very fast, the staff spoke perfect English and were helpful, and the club sandwiches and cocktails were great. Thanks, Eva and Maria!

The room looked beautiful, with nice furniture, and it was clean. It had been renovated three months earlier and cost more than the other rooms. Still, a persistent waste-water odor made our stay miserable. We arrived in the evening and it was so bad that we couldn't sleep. It had been windy and rainy the day before, so we wondered if that was the cause, but the smell was just as bad the next day when the weather was calm. I told the responsible person. The next day they said a technician had come and fixed the problem, and the cleaning ladies put out scented bars or fluids, but the odor never went away. Nobody checked whether it was still there or asked if everything was okay. Even our clothes picked up the nasty smell. We also asked for an iron and ironing board, but the board was very dirty and had no washable cover. With so many guests using it for their clothes, that felt unhygienic and could cause skin problems. The location, right on the beach, is great.

The beach is right beside the yard, and it was clean and lovely. There are several pieces of furniture in the yard where you can relax with friends or kids. The villa's location and facilities were amazing, and the staff were very polite and kind. They served welcome drinks when we checked in.
