Hotel Cariatis

We’ve spent five or six summer holidays here with our two small children. The hotel is comfortable and clean, with a good breakfast, and it’s close to Nea Kalikratia’s well-maintained town beach. The hotel managers are absolutely wonderful and kind.

The hosts are very friendly, and they did the most to make our stay excellent. Rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, with old furniture but everything you need. Breakfast is excellent, with eggs, ham, salami, muffins, fruit, and jam. There’s no coffee machine, which is the only drawback, and you can hear street noise at night. It’s a comfortable hotel close to the beach, with private parking. For the price, it’s excellent.

The owners are kind, great people who help out and provide five-star service. There’s also free private parking beside the hotel. The rooms are large and clean, toiletries are provided, and every room has a balcony with a view mainly, if not entirely, of the sea. The beach is only a five-minute walk away. Room cleaning is daily, and breakfast is decent and changes from day to day. For a two-star hotel, it feels like it should have three. Great value, and highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.

The rooms and balconies are much more spacious than at other hotels and apartments in Greece, and the view from the rooms is nice. It’s in a very good location, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong. The hotel is clean, the breakfast is tasty, and the staff are really nice. You get more than you pay for, and it deserves more stars. I’ll definitely book again.
