Studios Kapsalas

For three weeks, the three of us stayed in room 1, which was meant for four. It only had three plates, two forks, one knife, and three spoons. The beach described as 150 m away was full of ships, and the next best beach was a 10-minute drive. Studio Kapsalas, never again! The flat was furnished with the cheapest options, which didn't justify the price at all. I wouldn't stay there again even if I were paid. No one took our trash, cleaned the sandy floor, or changed the sheets. We were on our own and had to ask reception for every little thing.

We almost ran away from the place. It was awful, dirty, and poorly maintained, and the towels and bedding weren't clean. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke all the time. No one should stay here.

The building's outside, flowerbeds, street lamps, the melodic cicadas, the sunset, and the fruit-filled olive tree beside the balcony were all lovely. After renovation, this could be a nice place to stay, but it isn't ready now. We knew the street would be noisy and could live with that. What we weren't prepared for was a broken air conditioner and electric stove, a loose toilet lid that seemed dangerous for children, and a tank that wouldn't flush. We had to go to a nearby room to ask them to boil water for morning tea, and since we were with friends, we used their stove and toilet. It was very uncomfortable. The interior furniture felt like it belonged in a cheap hostel, while the price was like a 3-4 star apartment. Our next place was 5 km closer to the airport, cost the same, and had better service, full furnishings, a kitchen, a toilet, and a clean beach 50 m away. We were meant to check out at 11, but the servant started getting ready to clean before we'd left, which was confusing.

The building is well located, near the city and the seaside, and the staff were very friendly and tried to meet all our wishes. The rooms were really clean, though old and a little run down. That was the only real downside.
