Borealis Sea Front Moudania Villa

We were six adults with no kids, and we liked the Fila. It was clean, nice, and had almost everything we needed for the holiday. It seems especially suited to two or three families with younger children or teens. There’s parking behind the villa for up to five cars. I assume the front patio leads down to the beach, with side stairs and a private shower to rinse off sand. One thing to keep in mind if you want peace and quiet: a children’s play club nearby stays lively until 11:30 p.m., so you may hear kids shouting while you’re having a drink on the patio. The best part is the setting, up on a hill with an amazing sea view and the beach just a two-minute walk away. Inside, the ground floor has a kitchen and dining area, a lounge, and a full bathroom. The kitchen has a fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, utensils, and pots, but no frying pan, which is a real drawback if you want to make breakfast. There’s a Nespresso machine if you bring your own coffee. The dining space has a big table and eight plastic chairs that feel cheap to me. In the lounge there’s a large L-shaped couch, TV, and coffee table. Outside is a big patio with another L-shaped couch, a table, a couple of chairs and sun loungers, umbrellas, and a small fire barbecue. Down on the mezzanine level there’s a basic little gym with a treadmill, some weights, and resistance bands, plus a full bathroom with a washing machine. It also has two bedrooms, both with full beds; one has a small crib for a child or toddler, or a kid up to around 10-12 years old. Between them is a hallway play area with lots of toys to keep children busy. That level has no windows or ventilation, and the rooms get stuffy, so we kept an air conditioner on almost all the time. There’s a separate entrance from the mezzanine that comes up to the ground-floor patio. Upstairs are two more bedrooms with full beds and a bathroom. One bedroom has a TV and a sea-facing balcony, and there’s also a children’s bedroom with a bed and a huge balcony.

The villa is lovely, with modern rooms and great cleaning service. It’s very close to the sea, just steps away, and I’d absolutely stay here again.

Our summer holiday in 2015 was amazing. The villa was the best, and so accommodating. Everything!
