We’ve traveled plenty, but haven’t encountered treatment like this in Halkidiki, even as people only considering a stay. I’ll keep it brief: three days before our trip, they canceled our seven-night reservation, saying they were overbooked and had no room, even though we’d paid a deposit of around 40% weeks earlier, well above the usual 25%. They offered us some secondary tents as a substitute. These were at another business, in fields near a beach east of N. Moudania that was almost swampy. We turned that option down. We were told the deposit would be returned “in an hour,” but it took about a day and several phone calls to get it back.

The food and treats were a highlight, especially the chocolate soufflé, the waffle with ice cream, and their homemade Oreo ice cream. The place itself is distinctive, beautiful, and clean, with a lovely sea, parking, a beach bar, and impeccable service. I highly recommend it.
