The Blue Apartments and Beach

A complete scam! The nights cost an extremely high amount, but at least it’s worth it! The rooms and their location are described one way on the phone and website, yet in reality there are three beds in the living room and one bedroom in one! Not worth it!

We asked whether an apartment was free and what it cost. They replied after an hour, and we said we wanted to take it. After we confirmed by email, they didn’t reply to our email. We arrived the next day, and they were very unfriendly. They said someone else had already booked the available apartment, and when we asked for another recommendation, they didn’t help. We felt disappointed and won’t go there again. They didn’t even say goodbye. I don’t recommend this place.

The beach is well managed, and the music isn’t too loud. The first and second rows are reserved for hotel guests, which is understandable from a business point of view. But you can’t order just water, you have to order something else, then place another order every 3 hours. The showers seemed to require payment, but the coin box was broken, and the shower started running at random. I’m guessing someone turns it on and off manually from the bar. Other beach bars nearby are cheaper and don’t require another order every three hours, so I wouldn’t come back.

We had a great time with Demetrius and his very friendly, professional, busy team. As a small, high energy family, we made memories here that will last forever. The beach is the best along the Kavala coast, very clean and tidy, with no surprises under the water. It feels extremely safe to swim out past the safety buoys into the deep blue. From 0600-0800, a large school of local dolphins can be seen nearby, jumping very high. They took our breath away! There are lots of beach loungers for guests and their friends. Blue cafe serves awesome, healthy food quickly, and has fresh bakery items and great coffee. The deluxe apartment was modern and extremely clean, with everything you could ask for and more. Its fancy doors switch the AC off when you open them. The neighborhood is lively, and there’s a friendly supermarket nearby with everything you need and more. Parking is available all around. Even in the rain, Blue beach and the cafe are a nice place to relax. I can honestly highly recommend Blue Apartment’s.
