A little hidden treasure.

This place really only works if you’re a couple. On the phone, they promised that five of us could comfortably stay in one apartment. When we arrived, it turned out there was just one bedroom, two beds in the kitchen, and a tiny bed with a little mattress on it.

Mr. Tasos was especially friendly and ready to answer anything we asked. When we called and requested a photo of the room, the owner promptly sent one, and the room was exactly as agreed. It was spacious and had everything we needed, from breakfast-making facilities to a washing machine, hair dryer, and oven. The whole family was delighted with the room: it was very clean and beautiful. We’ll be back very soon, and I recommend it wholeheartedly 🙈

We booked a particular apartment after the owner sent photos on Viber and we spoke by phone. We paid a deposit, but when we arrived, we found that the apartment had already been rented to other customers. The available apartment next door wasn’t suitable for our family of three children, including a baby, which is why we’d booked that specific apartment based on the photos. Instead, we were put in a basement with no sea view, a bucket for water in the toilet, a low ceiling that I hit my head on in places, and a small skylight-like window in the bedroom. It clearly wasn’t the apartment shown in the photos. We were charged exactly the same as for the apartment we’d booked but never received. In my view, the owner also checked in an ungracious way during the whole situation that the correct transfer had gone through. I complained about the unexpected arrangement and the inconvenience, without even raising the charge because we’d come for six nights to rest, not to get a discount. The owner was rude and unacceptable in response and didn’t apologize at all. He even said we could leave or find somewhere else. All the accommodation was rented, as he himself said when we asked him sincerely to help find somewhere nearby through a friend, and we were 600 km from home. Unprofessional and unacceptable are the mildest words for this.
