Palmrise Luxury Villas - Helios Villa

There were wasps around the pool and ants inside the villa, and the way our mold concern was handled was just as troubling. We were staying with a 5-year-old, so we raised the strong smell in the lower ground apartment as soon as we arrived. We were told someone would deal with it in the morning, but nothing changed. Late that night we were told the first staff member had found no problem and they would take no further action. Palmrise Luxury Villas did not feel luxurious at all.

The villa had a serious ant problem, and wasps were all over the pool area. For the price, it didn’t feel luxurious or worthwhile. At check-in, the lower ground apartment smelled strongly of mold, which we said was unacceptable with our small child. The manager first promised to sort it out the next morning, then called at 11 PM to say nothing would be done because they trusted the staff member who said there was no smell. Completely unprofessional. Our stay at Palmrise Luxury Villas fell short.

We spent 14 days at villa Anemos. If you’re okay with ants and wasps, and with a rocky beach and sea, there’s plenty to enjoy with the kids, pool games, and lovely sunrises and sunsets. We had a perfect holiday.

The so-called luxury stay was noisy and poorly managed. We were told the loud music was from a wedding and would stop soon, but it became a three-day, three-night celebration with crowds and nonstop noise, with no regard for other guests. Shops and restaurants weren’t nearby as the walkability claims suggested, and the nearest supermarket was a 25-minute drive away. Our lower ground unit also reeked of mold. We raised it right away because we had a small child and were told it would be addressed, but it wasn’t. Later, a staff member said they found “no issue” and would do nothing further. There were ants in the villa and visible wasp infestations by the pool. The blaring music was shaking the property as soon as we arrived. A deeply disappointing experience at Palmrise Luxury Villas.
