Kehagias Apartments

The one thing I liked was having private beach chairs and umbrellas right in front of the property. The rest felt old and worn, and the nightly rate made it hard to justify. There’s just one key, with the air-conditioning card fixed to it, so if someone goes out, anyone left in the room has to manage without AC. That’s absurd at 28°C, never mind 38°C or more. The stair lights also switch off after about 10 seconds, which feels like the family is trying very hard to save on electricity. I wouldn’t go back even for free, though everyone has their own preferences.

The location was the main thing we liked. Parking on the street was free, and towels and kitchen utensils were provided. The hosts were kind, though they spoke very little English. The bathroom was tiny and smelled bad all the time, and the furniture was old. The beds weren’t comfortable either. Air-conditioning only worked in the bedroom, leaving anyone resting on the kitchen bed in a hot, stuffy space. After a brief thunderstorm, water leaked through the ceiling, and none of the hosts checked whether we were okay. We couldn’t use the property’s beach umbrellas or sunbeds because they weren’t available. Don’t expect bathroom accessories, either. Cleaning covered the shared stairs and floors, but they just swept without collecting the dust or rubbish. It wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t good.

The apartment had a lovely view and was really nice. Everything was perfect, I’d recommend it!

Right by the Aegean Sea, on the front line, this is a perfect holiday spot. The hosts are outstanding.
