The room itself was large and lovely, with a sea view from the room I had, plus a fridge and kitchen. But the stay was let down badly by the service. We were given conflicting answers about our dog: first they said dogs over 10 kilos weren't allowed, then that there'd be a €10 daily fee, and on arrival they again said no large dogs. They only let us stay with the dog after we objected. The parking was limited, despite being listed as on site. When a payment misunderstanding came up at checkout, the woman at reception spoke to us rudely. I also asked them to update the dog policy on booking.com and was rudely told she couldn't because she wasn't in charge of it. Very poor treatment. We were on the third floor with no elevator, and the toilet flush broke during our one-day stay.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the garden was nice. We had a balcony with a lovely view of the sea and beach. The room wasn't large, but it was very clean and had a TV and good WiFi. Parking was convenient, and there were beach umbrellas and sunbeds available for an extra charge.

We had a spectacular view, and the bed was really comfortable. The owner was lovely and helpful, and the room was cleaned every day. Definitely a great place to stay in Nidri!

The restaurant next to the hotel was a highlight for me, with amazing food. The rooms were nice and had a beautiful view. I wasn't impressed by the new policy of changing towels every other day.
