We've stayed here three times and love this hotel. The rooms are always clean and nicely decorated, the food is good with generous portions and isn't ridiculously priced, and all the staff are lovely and attentive. On a scorching sunny day, the swimming pool is a real delight. It's close enough to walk into town, while far enough from the noisy spots. Good value for money, and we've never been disappointed.

The staff are so lovely, and the wonderful Effie and the whole team always greeted us with a smile. Our room was a good size, well equipped and spotlessly clean, with incredibly comfortable beds. The pool area was lovely for relaxing, with reasonably priced bar drinks and a nice atmosphere. From the hotel it's an easy walk along the waterfront to Nidri, about seven minutes, with loads of great bars and shops. It was around 45 minutes by bus from the airport. This was our first stay here, and I highly recommend it if you're visiting Nidri. Thanks again for everything, Effie, remember, YOU ARE THE BEST.

This was our second time here, and it's such a gem. Effie and the whole team made us feel so welcome. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and our room was a good size, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We also had a lovely day bed outside. The pool is a great place to relax, with a lovely atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks from the bar. It's an easy stroll along the waterfront to Nidri, with lots of great bars and shops. We'll definitely return and stay with Effie again. Thanks for an amazing holiday!

Effie, who owns these apartments, works tirelessly to make your stay a good one. The place feels like home, and it's friendly enough that lots of people, us included, come back every year. The Athesis has everything you need, with superb food. We ate many delicious meals there, from pool snacks to evening dinners. The apartments sit right by the water, with lovely scenery of boats and mountains, a great pool, and a short, pleasant walk into Nidri for shops, bars and restaurants.

We've travelled as a family and stayed at this hotel four times now. We love how charming it is, how well located it is by the sea, and how it feels more personal than a large tourist hotel. It's small but lovely and well equipped, with the center of Nidri just a short walk away. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, always greeting us warmly. This place feels special to us, and we plan to come back many more times. I'd highly recommend Hotel Athesis to anyone looking for Greek hospitality and a more intimate atmosphere. Family Bertes
