The hill up to the accommodation is quite steep, but the room itself was clean, pleasant, and had working air conditioning, which we really appreciated. There was a shaded balcony with a sea view. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the central area or the beach.

Eirini was such a friendly host. When the water stopped working on Sunday night, she sorted it out herself. I stayed four nights at San Lazzaro on a fishing trip in late May 2025, and the room was spacious, well equipped, had an amazing view, and was great value. :)

They wouldn't let me cancel the booking and left me stranded without help. Booking here puts your time, money, and safety at risk. I've reported them to Booking.com. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

The hotel entrance is the one thing I didn't like, it's extremely steep, so you have to drive carefully. Apart from that, everything was fine, and I'd definitely come back. My room had an amazing view, the place was very clean, and the staff were friendly. Small, beautiful beaches nearby are lovely to explore, and Nidri is about a 10- to 15-minute walk away. The prices are reasonable too.

San Lazarro felt like coming home at the end of each day. My wife and I stayed for eight nights near the end of September, and it had everything we wanted. The hill really is steep, though manageable if your mobility isn't significantly reduced, and the view from the apartments is incredible. There were ants from our second day, but the staff dealt with them quickly and even left us a bottle of wine to say sorry. Everyone was friendly, and the place has a lovely family-run feel. It's a little outside town, around 10-15 minutes' walk to the main pedestrian area. The walk is nice, and evenings at the apartments are peaceful. The beach is about five minutes away on foot, and a local supermarket is less than 10 minutes away. Thanks, San Lazarro, we'll be back!
