The staff and owners were the best part for us. They were warm, helpful, and made us feel like guests instead of tourists. Nikiana was a quieter base, and having a car made it convenient to explore the island. It’s not a luxury 5★ resort, but for the value, cleanliness, atmosphere, and hospitality, it felt like a 5★ experience to us. We’d definitely come back. We stayed here last summer, and the hotel was spotless and well maintained, with daily housekeeping. The rooms were comfortable and practical, and the sea view from the balcony was beautiful. Breakfast was simple but fresh and tasty, with good ingredients and great coffee.

The owners made us feel at home straight away, with their kind, warm, genuinely friendly hospitality. I also loved sitting on the balcony in the calm and enjoying the scenery, especially the endless blue sea by day and the beautiful sunrises. There’s easy parking, and the quiet location is close to what you need. The hotel was spotless and well cared for. Breakfast was fresh and tasty with a good choice, and, if you’re lucky, you may get to try their delicious handmade local desserts. Flowers around the property add color and fragrance, and the traditional stairs up to the rooms give the place a distinctive, authentic look. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sofia in Lefkada, and I’d recommend it for the views, comfort, and Greek hospitality.

Hotel Sofia in Nikiana was cozy and relaxing, close to the sea and a short drive from Nidri, which is truly beautiful. The rooms were spotless, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would choose this hotel again if we return to Lefkada.

The balcony facing the sea was my favorite part of staying at Hotel Sofia. The place was clean and orderly, with a warm, homely feel. Natali, the hotel staff member, deserves a special mention: she welcomed me kindly, helped me feel at home, and was there whenever I had a question or needed advice. Her caring manner made me feel so much better.

The place felt peaceful and friendly, and all the staff were very kind. The service was great, and everything was extremely clean. Breakfast was very good, with high-quality, fresh food. I had a wonderful time at Sofia Hotel and would happily come back.
