Nikiana Club - Studio 10

Sailing was why we booked, and it really impressed us. The boats are well maintained, with a good choice available. We joined a couple of courses during the "level up" week, and the teaching was excellent and adapted to what participants needed. The beach team were friendly and very helpful. The resort is small and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a TV, air conditioning, and fridge. The shower room is small but otherwise fine, and the mattress toppers made the beds very comfortable. Food and drinks at the taverna were good, with prices about the same as other restaurants in Nikiana. In mid May the wind varied from very light to strong, with plenty of medium winds too. There are group socials on three evenings a week, but nobody is pressured to join. It's a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed our holiday and hope to return next year.

A lovely spot, with a really friendly crew on and off the water. We had a great holiday, and the Taverna food was excellent. Dora and her team made us feel very welcome. If you want fun on and off the water, this is the place. We'll be back!

Our family of four had a brilliant week, with everything we needed on and off the sea. Sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, and kayaking were all included. The rooms were spotless and everyone on staff was lovely. The sailing team were great and safety was spot on. When we capsized our 2k dingy, the safety boat arrived in under a minute. I can't praise our Seafarer Sailing Holiday enough. Thanks, Giles and team.

We had nine people in our group for two weeks with the Seafarer team at Nikiana, and everyone had a great time. Whatever their experience or enthusiasm for getting on the water, the team found ways to cater for them. The teenagers loved the "Beach Bums" club, so a big thanks to Ben and Amy. As parents, we were happy to see the kids out paddleboarding, sailing, windsurfing, or just messing around on the water. With only around 50 guests each week, the holiday has a small community feel. You get to know both the other guests and the staff. The setting is compact, so don't expect a big or expansive MW/Neilson type lay-out, but the STAFF are ace and make the holiday. The bar and taverna crew were excellent, attentive, and hard-working. Thanks to Dora, Paris, Maria, Terry, and Nancia for looking after us. More than 60% of the beach/UK staff were the same as last year, so it was lovely to see familiar faces and get a friendly welcome. The beach team made an effort to join guests for theme nights and handled some of the kids' wilder requests. Daryll deserves special thanks for all the random ones, from "Daryll I've locked myself out of my room again" (it happened 8 times) to "Daryll can you run a water Zumba session?" This was our second time at Seafarers. It was encouraging to see they'd listened to some of our feedback from last time, especially since the pillows were much more comfortable. The weather was HOT, particularly in the first week, and that cut down the sea breeze. We did get good wind on a handful of afternoons, enough to enjoy the performance boats and get the Cats up on one hull. Don't expect wind as consistent as at Vassiliki. We had better, steadier wind at Nikiana last year, so I think that first week was just a bit of a fluke.
