The village has a lovely peaceful feel and plenty of local character. We could see the sea from our window when we woke up, and the terrace had beautiful scenery throughout the day. Such a special place on Corfu for a relaxing break.

It may feel a bit isolated if that’s not what you’re after, but I liked the small, quaint beach. A coastal path links it with larger resorts, and there’s a lovely Taverna with good food and really friendly staff. Umbrellas and beach chairs were good value at three euros.

The sea is stunning, and although the beach is rocky, it’s quiet. There’s a great Tavern nearby with delicious food and very welcoming staff. You can hire a boat locally to explore the different harbours around Corfu. They get busy, so I’d book ahead, but I’d definitely go.

A quiet, beautiful spot with few people around. You can rent boats or kayaks, try some water activities, or walk along the beach to another one. There are two taverns here.

Spiro's taverna made the trip for us, with amazing food and service. We had such an unforgettable holiday and really didn’t want to leave. Couldn’t recommend it more.
