We loved staying here. The room has an amazing view, and the place is wonderfully peaceful. Breakfast was really good, and the hosts are so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Mrs Despina and Mr Dimitris were wonderful when my family needed somewhere to stay urgently late in the evening. They accommodated us with so much kindness. The hotel is stunning, with big clean rooms, comfortable beds and a top notch shower, all overlooking the beautiful sea. The pool was refreshing and breakfast was delicious. We stayed for four weeks with our two kids, and all four of us agree this is simply the best place to holiday. We’ll be back every two years for 3-4 weeks. Blue Horizon Suites in Astros Greece is amazing, and honestly we couldn’t ask for more. The owners and staff are great. The breakfast, location, wonderful view, super comfy bed, room size and upkeep were all very good. Astros beach, museums, nafplio, sailing, kite surfing and paddle boarding are easy to access as long as you’re driving. And the pool is awesome too.

On our 23 day trip around Greece, this was the best hotel, with one of the most stunning views ever. From the turquoise suite on the 3rd level, we looked over the Mediterenian Sea, coastline and mountains. Every suite has an unblocked sea view, big porches and private gardens. The suites are spacious and very clean, with good beds and sofas, plus a nice kitchen and dining table inside and outside in the shade. They face east/south, so you get morning sun and some shade in the hot afternoon. Breakfast was delicious, freshly made and had a big selection despite being served in a very small area. The tables and sunbeds all look out to sea, as do the pool and jacuzzi. Daily maid service was attentive, and the staff were so nice and helpful, making a real effort to make us feel at home. You’re quite high up to get those views, so expect stairs and a very steep driveway that could be tricky for inexperienced drivers. The beach is a small, steep dirt path down the mountain. In July, with 36 degrees, the walk was pretty strenuous, but worth it. We shared almost 700 meters of natural beach with only six other people. It’s small pebbles and some larger stones, so walk to the water in sandals, then step onto the softest sand. The whole bay has soft sand under the water, no stones or rocks, and the water is warm and crystal clear with no sea urchins. There’s nice eelgrass farther out, a sign of a healthy bay, and you can snorkel along either side of the coast. You can visit the beach on your right or just enjoy the beautiful coastline and some sealife. There are no neighbours on either side of the hotel, so there’s no noise or music. Paralio Astros has great restaurants, including Zorba, a 9 minutes drive away. Astros has a nice supermarket and luxury bakery, 8 minutes away. One suggestion: it would be useful to have a beach umbrella in each room. Two sunbeds on the porch instead of the deck chairs would be great. Good value for money. We’d love to return and will recommend this wonderful boutique hotel to everyone.
