Castle View Studios

The castle lit up at night makes a lovely view, and management was kind. The staff were clearly trying to help, but communication between them and management didn’t work well during my month-long stay. I had no working refrigerator for two weeks, then both the broken one and its replacement sat in the room for another two weeks. The kitchen needed a lot of attention. There was no frying pan, the dishes weren’t clean, and the juicer still had dried orange on it, so I washed everything when I arrived. The kettle was plastic, damaged, and had a melted handle with wires exposed. There was also old food in the freezer. The couch chair had a large water mark, and the cheap sheets felt very rough. The comforter and pillows were old and lumpy. The building is right on the main road into town, so expect traffic noise in a street-facing room. Most balconies face that road too.

Vivian was such a lovely host, and she spoiled us with delicious fruit. We had a great holiday at castle view. The rooms were kept neat and clean every day. Thanks for some really nice days.

I only got a quick glimpse of Vivian as she was rushing out, and Desiree wasn’t there when I went to look for her. I didn’t get inside, but it seemed like a nice place.

Everything important is nearby, and the place was spotless and tidy. The girl at reception was really sweet and helpful. They’ve got a lovely three-legged dog, too!
